SBR Resin and SBR Rubber
High styrene content copolymer used to reinforce rubber compounds (SBR, EVA, NR, CR, BR, and EPDM, among others).
It maintains the structure, high level of hardness, high modulus with good flexibility, offering good tear and abrasion resistance maintaining the compounds’ low density. Notable improvement in the processing of the surfaces of calendered and extruded compounds, representing an excellent alternative to compounds with elevated mineral filler content.
SB Rubber is a styrene and butadiene compound, polymerized at hot or cold temperatures. SBR is considered a general-purpose rubber. It is used in applications such as shoe soles, adhesives, and technical artifacts.
